Service Agreement

What is a service agreement?

A service agreement is a legal document that outlines the terms, expectations, and responsibilities between Christina’s Pet Care Services and a client before any pet care services begin. It protects both the business and the client by putting everything in writing upfront

What it typically covers:

• Services provided (dog walking, sitting, overnight stays, etc.) and scheduling

• Payment terms, rates, and cancellation policies

• Emergency procedures and vet authorization

• Pet care instructions (feeding, medication, behavior notes)

• Liability terms and what happens in case of an accident, injury, or property damage

• Key/access arrangements for the home

• Confidentiality of client and pet information
• Pet photo and video release forms
• And more!

Required for all clients:

Every client must complete and sign the service agreement during the initial meet-and-greet, before any pet sitting or walking services can begin.

Privacy of information:

Everything shared on the form (contact details, home access info, pet health history, emergency contacts, etc.) is kept private and confidential. It’s collected solely so Christina’s Pet Care Services has accurate reference information to care for the client and their pets properly. This information is never sold to third parties.

Legal requirement:

Christina’s Pet Care Services is legally required to have this signed agreement and the associated information on file before any booking can be confirmed. This protects both the client and the business in case of any incident during care.
